Contracts Manager

SUMMARY
Contracts Managers oversee several live projects at once, supporting site teams and making sure every job is delivered safely, on programme and in line with contract. You will be a senior operational leader within the business.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee delivery across multiple concurrent projects
• Manage and support Project Managers, Site Managers and Quantity Surveyors
• Monitor programme, cost and quality performance
• Conduct regular site visits and project reviews
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance
• Manage client relationships and escalated issues
• Review risks, resources and commercial performance
• Contribute to tenders, handovers and pre-construction planning

IDEAL CANDIDATE
• Extensive experience in senior construction management roles
• Track record of delivering major projects in London
• Experience managing several projects and teams
• Confident dealing with clients and senior stakeholders
• Commercially aware, with sound judgement under pressure
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Able to drive improvement in delivery processes
• Full right to work in the UK

QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
• Degree in Construction or equivalent experience
• MCIOB or equivalent chartered status (desirable)
• SMSTS (essential)
• Valid CSCS card
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate (desirable)
• First Aid at Work (desirable)
• Awareness of the Building Safety Act
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
