MEP Project Manager

SUMMARY
Our clients need MEP Project Managers to lead mechanical, electrical and public health installations on major London projects. You will manage teams, suppliers and programme to deliver complex building services safely and on time.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead delivery of MEP packages from design through to commissioning
• Manage programme, budget and resources for building services works
• Coordinate with the main contractor, design team and client
• Oversee subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
• Manage design development and technical submissions
• Monitor quality, safety and compliance on site
• Manage risks, variations and change control
• Lead progress meetings and oversee testing, commissioning and handover

IDEAL CANDIDATE
• Proven MEP project management experience in London
• Experience on commercial, data centre, healthcare or residential projects
• Strong commercial and programme management skills
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder communication
• Able to manage design, procurement and installation together
• Confident dealing with main contractors and clients
• Decisive and calm under pressure
• Full right to work in the UK

QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
• Degree or HNC/HND in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• CIBSE or IET membership (desirable)
• IEng or CEng (desirable)
• SMSTS (essential)
• Valid CSCS card
• First Aid at Work (desirable)
• Knowledge of BS 7671 and CIBSE guides
• Full UK driving licence (essential)

KEY SKILLS & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
• MEP systems design and installation
• Programming in MS Project or Asta Powerproject
• Cost control and variation management
• MEP design coordination and BIM
• Testing and commissioning management
• Subcontractor and supplier management
• Technical submittal review
• Client and main contractor reporting
